I love October. It begins the holiday season and has fun crafts, cute decorations and yummy cold weather food associated with it. I am looking forward to:
- General Conference
- Pumpkin soup, dinner in a pumpkin, pumpkin roll with cream cheese frosting
- Lots of hot chocolate, my favorite fall/winter drink!
- Cooler weather - being able to leave a building without immediately wilting from the heat
- Breaking out my cozy sweaters
- Decorating our newly refurbished house with fall decorations
- Making Halloween costumes for me and Ricky
- Planning Halloween treats
- Gothic reading challenges taking place across the blogosphere and in our ward's book club
{This month the book club selection is Mary Shelley's Frankenstein.I read this in high school but recently finished Stiff by Mary Roach, wh - ich in part addresses body snatching and use of cadavers in medical experimentsduring the 18th and 19th century. Frankensteinis the perfect fiction to follow up Stiff. Also,
It's going to be a fun and exciting month. Happy October!!!
I am so ready for cooler weather!!! Bring it on. I have some halloween decals here if you want some.
